Many have chosen to follow a knowledge alone and claim it to be a relationship with God. They do not actually know Him, but they just know about Him. They do not know the Bible, but they know about the Bible. They reject the Holy Spirit and His gifts and replace them with mere mental assent. The danger of merely having knowledge is that it puffs one up and does not produce the fruit of the Spirit that comes from a true relationship with God. We need to have knowledge and reason, but mere mental assent is not enough. A true relationship with God produces more than just head knowledge about Him and His word, it produces a new person full of the Spirit and power of God, which are things that cannot be learned.
There are many good Open Air Preachers that post their videos of their experiences preaching in the open air. Most of these preachers claim to be holiness preachers, but some upload videos filled with profanity, blasphemy, and filth with no concern at all. My brothers and sisters, this should not be the case. We should not seek to be glorifying sinners and their filthy language. Would you watch a movie with profanity and blasphemy in it? Most of you would not, but then you will turn around and post worse filth on your own sites for the world to see? This double mindedness must be done away with in Christ!
Many people allow anyone to post in comments and responses on their website or various pages they control. There are many "Christian" pages that most Christians cannot go to because of all the filth and blasphemy that is allowed to be posted. This should not be the case my brethren. We should keep our websites and pages clean and honoring to God.
Who receives salvation? Some say that merely believing in Jesus is enough, even if one later falls away or denies Christ, God the Father, or the Holy Spirit. The Bible very plainly says that it is a certain person that receives salvation. Merely mentally assenting to Jesus Christ is not enough, because that is not saving faith. Saving faith comes from the heart and produces good works.
Many people show forth a great Christian witness, but does their heart line up with what they are showing? What about you? Are you the same person at home that you are at work? Are you the same person at home that you are at church? Who are you really?
There are many biblical titles and names of authority, but there are also those that assume titles that they have not been given by the Lord Jesus Christ. What does the Scripture teach about New Testament titles of authority?
The phrase "Once Saved, Always Saved" is not used to denote God's keeping grace and the believer continuing in holiness, rather it is used as an excuse for continuing on in sin. With OSAS (Once Saved, Always Saved) men feel they have free reign to live as they wish and ignore the Lord's will for their lives. OSAS really just means "Once Sinners, Always Sinners" in its normal usage. It is used by people that do not have saving grace in their lives and who want to excuse their lifestyles that are contrary to that of the true elect. Many OSAS advocates rebelliously proclaim themselves to be sinners still, thus they testify to the fact that they are not true believers, for the Scripture says, "And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear?" (1 Peter 4:18).
There are those that think that water baptism is required for salvation. Others believe it is not required for salvation. What does the Bible teach about this subject?
Many talk about Jesus. Some believe Him to be a good man. Some believe He is an angelic being. Others believe that He was a great teacher. Still others say He is a great prophet. What does the Bible teach about Jesus Christ? Was Jesus an angel? Was Jesus merely a man? Was Jesus just a good moral teacher? Was Jesus just an exalted man? Was Jesus merely a great prophet? Does your belief about Who Jesus is affect your eternal salvation? These questions are all answered clearly in this video.
Some suggest that if a believer worships the Lord on Sunday that they are actually worshiping the Sun. They claim that men need to keep the Old Testament Saturday Sabbath. They ignore the fact that Saturday was named after Saturn and could imply Saturn worship just as much as Sunday implies Sun worship. Let us be reasonable and follow what our Lord Jesus commanded, not the traditions of men.
Many teach that there is a secret rapture or catching away that will occur. Others teach that there is no rapture. What does the Bible actually teach about this much speculated event?
There are many that speak evil continually of other people. The Scripture is very clear about how we are to speak and whether we are to be speaking evil of others.
In my years of dealing with people that were devil-possessed there is something that many are told by these devils, and it is the EXACT message that most preachers today proclaim. Many are told that they must continue in sin to be saved, and if they live holy lives then they will go to hell! This is almost word-for-word from the playbook of the average professing Christian who says that holiness by the grace of God is "works-righteousness" or "self-righteousness" and then claims that they are truly saved because they live in constant sin. Satan is deceiving people with this lie and it is being spoken through the mouths of his preachers across the globe. We need to be on guard and flee from men preaching this doctrine of devils.
Many are taught that they are pre-forgiven of their sins. They are never shown any Scripture that supports this, because such a teaching is never found in Scripture. From the Old Testament to the New Testament men were always required to repent of their sins to receive forgiveness (Proverbs 28:13; 1 John 1:9). The deception about "pre-forgiveness" commonly goes like this: "We are forgiven of all our sins: past, present, and future." Many people can quote that saying word-for-word, but do not realize that they are being deceived and following a tradition of men. In this teaching I show what the Scripture actually teaches about the forgiveness of sins.
Is heaven your true home? To hear some talk you would think that man was created to live in heaven for all eternity and that heaven is some birthright of the human being. What does the Scripture say about our eternal home with God and is it as simple as saying one prayer to spend eternity with God?
