Notes From The Road - Itinerary Building

Greetings fellow travel lovers! I hope you are having a marvelous week! If you are curious to know the secret behind building a perfect itinerary, then this is the post for you. The best itinerary you can build for your next vacation is one YOU (and your travel mates) wish to execute. Travel is NOT one size fits all. When I visit a new place, I seek out activities, attractions, cuisine, and culture I can't easily find at home. Therefore, I use every opportunity to see/do something new. When considering a new museum (as an example), I consider how much time I am likely going to want to spend there. For me, I am more likely to spend more time at a history museum than I am at an art museum. With that formula, I essentially plot one to two agenda items in the morning and one or two in the afternoon. This way the schedule is open enough to make some last-minute adjustments without throwing off the whole day. Hopefully, this helps you plan your next great escape!
