Dr. Perry Sanders, pastor emeritus, First Baptist Church, Lafayette, Louisiana, called them "God's Attention Getters." Popular preacher Ron Dunn described them as "Strange Ministers." Others, like Henry Blackaby, saw them as "Crisis of Faith." No matter how you define or describe them, Failure (and Frustration); Illness (and Disease); and Death, are woven into the very fabric of life, to nudge us to "Seek the Lord." This compilation is a small portion of a larger pastoral message delivered at the First Baptist Church, Chalmette, Louisiana, by Dr. John Dee Jeffries, on Sunday evening, October 18, 2009. The Price Paul paid throughout his life and ministry is the focus in this session. Why do we today "think" it will be any different for us?
