Michael Cochren of Cochren & Co. sits down with GodTube Music’s Brandon Woolum in Nashville to talk about the band’s deeply personal new album, Runs In The Blood. Michael opens up about the heart behind the 12-song project, why it is the most honest music he has ever made, and how themes of grace, redemption, family, faith, and legacy run throughout the record.

In this conversation, Michael shares the powerful story behind “All I Need To Know,” a song written after he and his wife prayed for a child for eight years before welcoming their baby boy. He also reflects on vulnerable tracks like “My Only Hope,” the message behind “What Grace Can Do,” and why he believes Christian music can be honest about struggle while still pointing people toward the hope of Jesus.

Michael also talks about his small-town Indiana roots, staying grateful through the ups and downs of the music industry, writing from a different perspective outside of Nashville, and getting ready to bring the new music on the road with Zach Williams for the Revival Nights Tour.
