We Remember Kentucky Trooper Hayden Phillips

In a solemn tribute, we remember Kentucky State Trooper Hayden Phillips, who was tragically killed in the line of duty. Trooper Phillips, aged 30, was making a routine traffic stop on Interstate 65 in Warren County when he was fatally shot by an occupant of the vehicle. The suspect, a 51-year-old man from Portland, Tennessee, fled the scene but was later arrested. Phillips, a dedicated officer who had served for three years, leaves behind a grieving wife and three young children. His sacrifice underscores the dangers faced by law enforcement officers daily. The Kentucky State Police and the broader community mourn his loss, and the Kentucky State Police Foundation is accepting donations to support his family during this difficult time. Let us honor Trooper Phillips' service and the bravery he exemplified.
